As a follow-up to yesterday’s reference to Iranian drone assets in Syria: One of the difficulties Congress faces when voting to authorize (or not) military intervention in Syria is the fact that Iran apparently is inviting an opportunity to engage Americans militarily. Not too long ago, the Iranians apparently captured a US spy drone and mocked the Americans accordingly.
Make no mistake: the use of aerial assets in the Syrian battlefield are already in use. The concept of establishing a no-fly zone in Syria may be an appealing option in this context.
